I've never really thought of buying culottes until I tried them on for fun, I'm naturally quite short and never thought they would even suit me! I usually imagine that a tall, skinny, model-a-like woman would be ideal. Which is true someone taller would suit culottes for sure, but who would've thought they would look decent on a little person too. I think the secret is - high pair of heels, otherwise I would've looked like a dwarf with odd length trousers :') So a pair of Spring inspired open-toe sandals is The One.

Style A Vintage Coat

Happy Friday! I've recently been away in Lithuania so I thought I'll capture some snaps for you. Who would have though my nan's old coat would be wearable right now and fit me :) She gave it to me because it was -20 degrees and I just fell in love with it, it's so warm and a simple black/grey/white tones will go with everything.

My nan was in her twenties here meaning more than 60 years ago! And here I am in my twenties rocking it again haha it's also been cut a little bit shorter too.

What do you think! Do you have pieces you still wear from your family members? Or maybe found something from a market or a vintage store that you still can't get enough of!

Keep an eye out for another post from Lithuania which will include some hot wine on ice and lots more beautiful snow!

Grey Happiness

Chloe Lewis Edit - Grey Jumpsuit

Good evening guys! I hope everyone is really well and having a good week. I'm so excited to finally drive to places and I've actually made my way into work by car for the first time this week :')
I've shot a little outfit this weekend on my way to an event and apologies for my converses I keep them in the car to drive in :'D but I don't think they look too bad, kind of gives it a more casual look. However I think this jumpsuit would definitely suit a nice pair of high heels, like neutral/white/black tones?
Let me know what you think of the jumpsuit, i love this kind of grey colour, I think it will be great for upcoming Christmas parties and NYE events...and I think I might just have my NYE party outfit sorted!

Good evening my beauties! I do apologise I haven't blogged/posted a lot this week at all but I've had many changes happening at work and I will soon be able to share them all with you ;)
Since I've been back from my birthday weekend away I had my driving test and have successfully passed!! I'm super excited about it and already have been looking into driving within next few weeks which is very exciting as you know I've been living on the train most of my life.

I've also began a new internship at this Fashion/Lifestyle/Fitness agency which I absolutely adore and feel so grateful to be a part of it. You can see some snaps of the office, what a beautiful place to work in and be inspired by?
I've also been out with the girls from my Internship to a fundraising event this week for Stroke called StyleForStroke at Rah Rah club this week. See some more tweets about it on my Twitter at @scentofblanc.

So this is my little update on the week, just to say I am alive! I'm working a lot on the blog behind the scenes and can't wait to share it all with you with new plans and posts for the 2016! Keep out for new posts next week :)

I'm off to enjoy a warm glass of mulled wine mm..
Warmest wishes to you all this evening,

Gift For Him & Her

Good evening guys, hope everyone's having a good weekend! It's that time of the year where wearing warm socks and a jumper is much more appealing than going outside. So my plan today was to simply stay indoors and work on my blog, sort some other bits out and share another gift related post! As you already know I've always been a fan of Daniel Wellington watches I adore their simple and classic designs that are timeless. You can also adjust and change up straps so once you have one watch, you can simply change your straps to whatever you're fancying at that moment/season. For example I also have the more colourful Classy Glasgow one that I change into for the summer period :)

This season I've fallen inlove with the rich and deep tone of brown which is always a classic for both women and men, it also has Swarovski stones inside which is always nice to owe. My boyfriend loves his Classy York watch too and we both recommend this as a gift for your loved one especially when it comes in this pretty Christmas box!

If you're now sure you want one, my discount code 'DWSCENT' is always here and you will get 15% off! Just make sure to use it asap as it runs out on 15th of January. The discount can be used on top of the existing holiday promotion too!

Classy York 40mm For Him - see here

Let me know which style you love the most and hope you love yours as much as we do!

Winter Coat

Coast Geneva Maxi Coat - see here
Asos Coat - see here
Miss Selfridge Coat - see here
Coast Montreal Coat - see here
SunGod sunglasses - see here

Hi guys! I hope you're having a great start to the week! Black Friday is coming and lots of stores already launching some discounts early :) I wanted to show off my new Winter coat simply because nothing completes an outfit better than a smart and elegant coat right? I actually could have worn my pj's with this maxi coat if I really wanted to and still look acceptable  as it just covers it all :'D I used to make a mistake and never really invest in winter coats, I used to spend no more than £30 on an 'okay' quality and never wear it again next year...which would just mean I then go and spend more money on another coat.
So I did a little researcha and added my personal opinion for you, hope you can relate!

Invest
Don't get me wrong I love a bargain on a dress or jewellery but when it comes to coats, shoes and bags it does make sense to invest a little more money and wear those pieces daily/yearly.
Minimal
Don't go over the top with fur, embellishments and fur and keep it simple. That way it doesn't get in the way of trends next year and a classic piece goes a long way.
Look for Sale
As you know many stores around will have discounts from now on until Cyber Monday so why not search around now and get yourself a piece that you can afford? For example the coat I've shared is now in the sale! It's gone down from £250 to £150 and I've got to say the quality is brilliant and keeps you snuggle and warm.

Let me know where you're getting your Winter Coats from?
