London Jewellery - Kabiri, Dark Room

Last week I went into London to visit some jewellery stores. This silver lion statement piece is from a place called Kabiri which is a place filled with beautiful, detailed designs. They've got some really unique pieces, my favourites were the simple delicate rings as well as this statement piece!
I wouldn't usually pick something like this up and think I would like it, but for some reason I loved it. Look at the blue diamond eyes, it reminded me of Cartier's leopard pieces.
For those who have followed my blog for a while, you will know I have been featuring a few jewellery pieces recently. This is because I have actually based my Third Year's project at Uni on Jewellery since I've always had an interest in it, what's better than basing your 8 month project on something you like! I've being doing a lot of research on different jewellery designers at the moment and after Christmas I will be doing more practical stuff which I'm really looking forward to!
As you can see it was raining (the usual) so I only took a few photos, do apologise for the slicked back hair clearly been touched up by the rain ha!
Earrings - Coast Stores
Dress - H&M
I don't know if it's just me but I always hesitate when it comes to dresses and cold weather? I've got more dresses than any other clothes but still have to think twice about wearing one when it's cold. I'm trying to introduce black tights with it and I think it does kinda work! What do you think?
Another store I visited was Dark Room London store. It's a very small, quite dark place filled with many accessories for women, men and home. I was surprised to see pottery, pillows and art pieces all mixed in with the jewellery. It's a very artistic place, so I do think you either like it or not.
Which pieces do you prefer? They're both very different, Kabiri sells extremely simple and delicate pieces and Dark Room is filled with mixed, creative pieces that are all different each time.
Look forward to hearing your thoughts, maybe you've got a brand you'd like to suggest? I'm always open to new ideas :)
Hope you're all having a good start to the week,

Love, Skai x
