Lithuania - Panevezys, Mai Sushi and Marshmallow BBQ

     I’ve been away in Lithuania these couple of weeks, so I’ve been a little off on social media as I hardly search for places with wifi and want to enjoy my time back home. But of course, I’ve been carrying my camera around with me and been capturing some moments from my time here.

    Today I met up with two of my closest friends, I’ve known these girls for so long, we went to school together in Lithuania and now all live and study abroad. Even though we don’t see each other for a year we come back and chat away like we were together yesterday. Crazy how real, good friends never change, it’s like we never left! 

   We found a cosy little spot at ‘Mai Sushi’in Panevezys and had a quick lunch followed by some take-away lattes. We walked around the town and went along Senvage, those from Panevezys will surely know this place. It’s so calm and soothing here, no rush, no traffic just people passing by.

   Later that day we grabbed a couple of snacks and came back to my house.  We generously packed our bags with sweets and crisps deciding that today ‘it’s okay’. Straight away we made ourselves comfortable outside in the garden and got the BBQ going.

 We roasted some marshmallows on the fire, had too much chocolate and lots of laughs.
